St. Bernadette School is a publicly funded Catholic school in Regina, Saskatchewan that delivers a faith-based education to 370 children aged 4-14, from Kindergarten to Grade 8. We are located in the Walsh Acres subdivision and provide educational services for our families in Garden Ridge, Lakeridge and Walsh Acres subdivisions.

 

St. Bernadette School has 23 professional staff and 5 support personnel to meet the needs of our students.

 

St. Bernadette School is served by Holy Family Parish. The school has a strong working relationship with the parish team that is comprised of Father Brad Fahlmann, Jim Walker and Reed Miller.

 

 

The educational philosophy of St. Bernadette School is to provide students with a quality Catholic education that focuses upon using available resources to advance learning. Our aim is to provide students with opportunities to learn in spiritual, academic, social and physical settings. 
 

At St. Bernadette School we offer Kindergarten to Grade 8 educational programming. This involves providing for the needs of all students through support in our Learning Resource Program, a speech program, band and many other extracurricular activities such as student leadership, intra-school sports, choir, etc. Our primary level students participate in a unique Guided Reading program that enhances their literacy and we also employ the Accelerated Reader program that enriches the literacy experience for all students at the school. 
 

Our CSCC has also arranged for a Before and After School program with the YMCA that provides childcare for school age children from 7:30 to 8:45 AM and 3:30 to 6:00 PM.
