​Moving in Faith gives participants an opportunity to walk/jog/wheelchair a 2km and 5km course. All Moving in Faith participants will begin on the track at Canada Games Athletic Complex. Those participating in the 5km walk/run will then cross Assiniboine Avenue and continue the route on the Regina pathway system. They will continue on the path until they reach the 2.5 km turnaround point, located close to the Conexus Arts Centre. From there, participants will turn around and proceed back to the Canada Games Athletic Complex, finishing the course on the track.

Washroom/Change Room Facilities

Washrooms, change rooms and shower facilities are available at the Canada Games Athletic Complex.

Family Fun Activities

The event will include a small carnival to be set up prior to the race which will feature a face-painter, balloon animal creator and dino bouncer. The event will also include a short liturgy.

T-Shirt Information

In order to receive a free t-shirt, you must register by May 1, 2017. T-Shirts can be picked up at Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School on Saturday May 27, 2017 from 1-3 p.m., or at the Canada Games Athletic Complex on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 12-1:30 p.m. Registrations close on May 24, 2017.

This year’s event will support Visitation House. Visitation House is a drop in centre for women supported by the Archdiocese of Regina. The centre is a safe place for women to come together and offers practical, emotional, and spiritual support for women, by women. Women of all ages are welcome, regardless of economic, religious or cultural background. As a Christian Organization Visitation House is fully supportive of the various cultural and religious traditions of our participants. 

In lieu of a registration fee, participants are invited to make a donation to Visitation House. Donations will be collected the weekend of the event, and a charitable tax receipt will be issued for all donations over $10.
