The Newcomer Welcome Centre is a place where newcomers (immigrants, temporary residents and refugees) can access information, assessments and other supports to help them make a more successful transition to life in Regina. The Centre provides information and referral services to newcomers arriving in Regina directly or indirectly from their home country and to those who have been in Canada for a period of time. The NWC is a partnership of RODS, RCS, Regina Public Schools (RPS), the Conseil des écoles fransaskoises (CEF), and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
