Personal Computing Services includes the following areas:
Technology Services provides desktop hardware support to all of it's locations through onsite with requests for support being made through the service desk. Regina Catholic Schools maintains a standard for desktop hardware. Information on desktop standards can be found here.
Regina Catholic Schools utilizes laptops in all of it's locations with wireless access available to facilitate mobility within the schools and the catholic education centre. Laptop support is managed through the service desk. Information on laptop hardware standards can be found here
Technology services provides both color and black and white printing to all locations within the division. All printer support is managed through the service desk.
- Computer Accessories
Technology services provides computer accessories where and when required. Accessories such as scanners and laptop docking stations are managed by the service desk while other accessories like headphones are managed by individual schools.
Imaging services ensure that computers within Regina Catholic Schools receive the latest software and updates and continue to run smooth throughout the year. Technology Services utilizes System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to provide imaging services.
- Loaner Equipment
Regina Catholic Schools offers a variety of equipment for sign out to teachers to use in their classroom. A full list of equipment and details on obtaining it can be found here.
