Industrial Arts is part of the Practical and Applied Arts Curiculum. These classes allow students to do hands on activities in the areas of woodworking, metals, welding, drafting, CAD programs, design, engineering, home renovation, electrical, and electronics, while at the same time students receive instruction in theory and safety in each of these areas. Industrial Arts classes are excellent experience for students who are considering the trades as a career option or students who are planning to pursue a career in engineering, architecture, or industry. Even if you're not planning for one of these careers Industrial Arts can be a fun and interesting experience exposing you to new and different experiences from the regular classroom.
