Our Services
Personal - personal counselling is available to all students
regarding:
• decision making
• peer issues
• social situations
• family issues
• conflict
• referral to outside agencies
Academic - counsellors offer support in many areas such as:
• course selection and placement
• timetabling
• study skills
• transition issues (gr. 8 - gr. 9) and (gr.12 - post secondary)
• credit checks
• grad status reports
• Sask. Ed. evaluations
• obtaining transcripts for post secondary
Vocational - counsellors provide information and facilitate processes
on:• career searches
• scholarships
• letters of reference
• resume writing
• interest inventories
• financial aid
• spend-a-day programs
• study and/or travel abroad
• application workshops
Resources
The student services department provides printed materials on all Canadian Universities,
Technical Institutes and Community Colleges.
In addition, there are College Handbooks from the U.S. and application forms
for the SAT I, SAT II, and ACT tests.
