Boys Junior Boys Basketball
An outstanding effort was put forth by our Junior Boys Basketball team in the first round of
RIT action yesterday afternoon. The Royals participated in an epic battle versus Sturgeon
Heights of Winnipeg. The game was back and forth the entire 40 minutes with the Royals
battling back from a 12 point deficit. In the final minute the crowd witnessed Colin Gudereit
hit a huge shot to get the team within 2 points and then come very close to hitting a last
second 3 to put the game into overtime. Unfortunately our Royals did not come out
victorious losing 63-60. The coaches would like to thank the boys for their effort and the
team would like to thank the staff and students for their support. High scorer for the Royals
