“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” 1 John 4:8

Looking Back….

We are half-way through the 2017-2018 school year! We had a tremendous opening semester. Thank you to our wonderful students and staff for all their efforts!

Semester Two started on February 1st, 2018.

Our band left for their trip to Winnipeg on February 8th.

February 5th-9th was French Second Language Week. This year’s theme was 151 Reasons to Choose Bilingualism!

Looking Ahead….

There will be a Regina Catholic Schools Jazz Café at Miller on February 12th.

We host our 21st Annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Breakfast on February 13th. It runs from 7:00am to 9:00am and all are welcome!

Our Ash Wednesday liturgy will be held on February 14th.

Our Grade 8 feeder schools will take part in our “Sun for Day” on February 15th. At 7:00pm, in our theatre, we will host our Grade 8 Parent Night.

Teachers’ Convention takes place on February 16th. No school for students.

Family Day and Winter Break runs from February 19th to 23rd. No school for students.

New spirit wear is arriving weekly in the Suns Store.

Only students with a parking pass can park in our parking lot.

Daily Announcements are here.

The Suns Lunch Counter has a variety of food items for students to purchase before school, at break, and at lunch.

All students have a locker and should be using a school lock. We ask that students always store coats and backpacks within it while at school.

HomeLogic is a great educational tool for both students and parents/guardians to stay connected to academic and attendance information. See here for more details.

Student Drop Off and Pick Up:

  •  Avoid the student/staff parking lot at peak times (8:20 am to 9:00 am and 3:10 pm to 3:40 pm). We need to limit access for students/staff only.

  • Drop off and pick up across the street or use the parking lot of Jean Baptiste. Use this as a meeting spot after school.

  • Please do not park after school by the lime coloured pylons in front of the school.
