Elementary:
We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
You and I make many choices every day. Think how many things you decided before you arrived at school. Jesus too made many choices in his life, although probably not about which video game to play or choosing between McDonalds, Burger King or Dairy Queen. His biggest choice of choosing to love us more than anything else enables us, his brothers and sisters, to be with him forever.
This Lent, we continue to ask Jesus to help us make good choices.
God our Creator,
We thank you for your love in Jesus.
Lead us to make positive choices
Choices full of respect for others
Choices that show we value friendship and loyalty,
Choices that develop healthy life-giving attitudes and values,
Choices that treasure what is lasting and important like friendships.
Lord, increase our faith,
our love,
and our hope.
Amen
We close our prayer by praying:
Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.
Amen.
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
High School:
We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus made many choices in his life – his biggest choice enables us, his brothers and sisters, to be with him forever. In prayer this Lent, we continue to ask Jesus to help us make good choices.
God our Creator,
We celebrate your love in Jesus.
Strengthen us for difficult times
And choices
that all of us face in our lives.
Lead us to make positive choices
Choices full of respect for others
Choices that show we value friendship and loyalty,
Choices that develop positive life-giving attitudes and values,
Choices that treasure what is lasting and important.
May our struggles each day
Be the foundations upon which we build
the positive choices of our tomorrows.
Lord, increase our faith
our love,
and our care.
Amen
We close our prayer by praying:

As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end.
