Elementary:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Alleluia!! Happy Easter! He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Jesus invites us to trust God just as he does and his promise is that we will have eternal life as he does.  Trust can be difficult. Have you ever said: "What's the matter? Don't you trust me?"

Often when we make mistakes or are confronted with things that we have done wrong we deny doing it by saying things about trust. Think about it! Are you trustworthy? Can you be trusted? Are you a good trusty friend? Do you have trust-worthy friends?

Let's pray:

Lord, I know how much you love me. It is hard for me to feel it sometimes, but I know your Easter love is always with me. Help me trust your ways as the best ways to be the finest person I can be through Easter and beyond.

Amen.

We bring before you Risen Jesus all those affected by the Covid-19 virus. May we work together bringing hope and healing in these times of fear and despair. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

We close by praying:

Glory be to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit

As it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

High School:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Alleluia!! Happy Easter! He is risen! He is risen indeed!

Jesus says that "No one can see the Kingdom of God without being born from above" (John 3:1-8) As Christians we believe that God's creation, including us, is always evolving as we discover more and more the sacredness of all things and we grow in our ability to care for all things. Let us pray that we recognize the awesome gift of God's creation – Christ in the universe:

God of wonder,

The vastness of your creation

That we can see through telescopes,

Reminds us of the unending

abundance of your love.

The smallest creatures and cells

That we see through microscopes,

Remind us that you love the world so much

That you sent Jesus your son,

To be one of us.

In all places we look,

Open our eyes

So we may really see you

All around us

In your creation.

And grow in wonder and appreciation.

Amen.
