Elemenatry:

Good morning ___school name____.

Wherever you are in the building, please stand up for Jesus and join me in the sign of our faith. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

This is the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity.

During this week, Christians all over the world are reminded of Jesus’ prayer to his disciples that “we may be one so that the world may believe”.

This means that Jesus wanted us all to be a part of one church, and so this morning we pray for unity amongst all Christians:

Lord, You have called us to be one, to live in unity and harmony, and yet we are divided: race from race, faith from faith, rich from poor, old from young, neighbor from neighbor. Heavenly Father, break down the walls that separate us.

May our eyes be merciful, as we look for the beauty in each person. May our ears be merciful, so we may hear our neighbors' needs. May our tongues be merciful, so we only speak words of love, comfort and forgiveness. May our hands be merciful so we may do only good to our neighbors.

And may all Christians be united as one, and continue to share the Good News

of Jesus with all people.

We make our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen

Have a wonderful day
