Who loves Taco Tuesday's?

I love sitting with my friends and family when it's taco day. But my friend, Sam, smothers his taco with so much hot sauce that it dribbles on his face, hands, and plate. When things get sloppy on taco Tuesday's, I smile at my friend Sam and say, "That sure looks delicious!"  Sometimes to enjoy life we need to get messy!

We all have days when our hair is a mess, our clothes get dirty, and we sometimes get embarrassed about how we look. God calls us to love others, even on their sloppy days.

And so today we start our day in prayer by saying:

Good morning, God! Thank you for blessing us with another day.
Help us to be a good friend to others, even on their toughest days.
Give us the wisdom to speak words of love and kindness and to enjoy being together.

Keep our families, our schools, and our communities safe, Lord.
As we go through our day, let us be good listeners always making time for listening, laughter and fun. Amen

Please pray for unity among all Christians this week of prayer for Christian Unity!

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen
