In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Our God wants us to laugh every day as our world can be quite funny somedays.

A Catholic School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23.  She gave her students a month to learn the passage because it was quite long and would require lots of time to get it all memorized.  Little Ricky was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember all the words. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line.  On the day that the students were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of their classmates, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the front of the class and said proudly, 'The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know!'

Fair enough!

Let us pray: The Lord is our shepherd, and he wants to love and guide us every day of our lives. Thank you Jesus for giving up your life for us and dying on the cross for our sins.

May we work hard when we need to and relax when we need too!

Thank you, Creator God, for all the blessings in our lives. Keep us safe and help us all to make today a wonderful day.

Today is also the memorial of St. Agnes who is widely known as the patron saint of young girls, chastity, and rape survivors so we ask her intercession and protection for all who have had their dignity broken. St. Agnes pray for us.

In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen
