Good morning ___school name____.

Wherever you are in the building, please stand up for Jesus and join me in the sign of our faith. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Our God wants us to laugh every day. Let’s start today with a little laughter as I share with you this morning’s joke.

A Catholic School teacher decided to have her young class memorize one of the most quoted passages in the Bible - Psalm 23. She gave her students a month to learn the passage because it was quite long and would require lots of time to get it all memorized. Little Ricky was excited about the task - but he just couldn't remember all the words. After much practice, he could barely get past the first line. On the day that the students were scheduled to recite Psalm 23 in front of their classmates, Ricky was so nervous. When it was his turn, he stepped up to the front of the class and said proudly, 'The Lord is my Shepherd, and that's all I need to know!' J

Let us pray: The Lord is our shepherd and he wants to love and guide us every day of our lives. Thank you Jesus for giving up your life for us and dying on the cross for our sins.

May we work hard while we are at school today, so we can relax and enjoy the weekend.

Thank you, Creator God, for all the blessings in our lives. Keep our school safe and help us all to make today a wonderful day.

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
