Good morning and Happy New Year to you and yours!
We begin a new year in hope in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen
We hope and pray that you all had a wonderful Christmas and had some blessed family time to celebrate what the holidays were all about – the birth of our Savior - Jesus!
Yesterday our church celebrated the Epiphany of our Lord. We remember the Wise Men who came is see baby Jesus. Upon entering the house, they saw baby Jesus with Mary and Joseph. They were so excited to meet Jesus as they recognized he was a true king.
Today, we remember Epiphany as a time when it was recognized that Jesus came into the world for all peoples. And Jesus is still here for all!
Lord God, help us to seek Jesus, just as the Wise Men did.
May our words and actions reflect the love we have for your Son, Jesus.
It is still the Christmas season, so Lord help us to carry the treasures of Christmas all year.
Keep us safe during this pandemic, heavenly Father, and may we use this time at home to grow in our faith.
In a special way this month we pray for patience and healing for all those whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer's disease.
In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
