Elementary:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The Wise Men visited Jesus bearing gifts. We call this the event the Epiphany of the Lord. The wise men represent all the world and they recognized Jesus as King and Saviour – the big reveal!  It's an important thing to know!

The revelation of Jesus identity is share in many ways. Today is Christmas day for our Ukrainian/Byzantine rite Catholics friends – Merry Christmas! Jesus' story is being told all the time to many peoples all over the world.

Let us pray:

Lord, help us to be people who reveal your love in all we say and do. We ask your blessing on our homes and our home away from home, our schools. May we experience the love of Jesus in all these holy places.  May our own baptism remind us that we belong to your family in a very special way and may the sharing of our gifts call others to you.

Together with the three wise men who spread the news of the Saviour we continue our day in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

High School:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

This past Sunday we celebrated the Feast of the Epiphany of the Lord. On this feast we remember that twelve days after Christmas the Three Wise Men visited Jesus bearing gifts. Epiphany comes from a Greek word that means to suddenly understand something important or it can mean a revealing moment like when the wise men, who represent all the world, recognized Jesus as King and Saviour – the big reveal!  It's an important thing to know!

The revelation of Jesus identity is share in many ways. Today is Christmas day for our Ukrainian/Byzantine rite Catholics – Merry Christmas! Jesus' story is being told all the time to many peoples all over the world.

Let us pray:

Lord, help us to be people who reveal your love in all we say and do. We ask your blessing on our homes and our home away from home, our schools. May we experience the love of Jesus in all these holy places.  Remind us that we belong together as your family in a very special way and may the sharing of our gifts call others to you.

Let us pray:

God of harmony and unity,

You call us all to work together to build your kingdom.

May our ears hear your voice clearly

May our eyes see your beauty in all peoples

May our understanding break down walls of fear and prejudice.

May we make our homes and schools

places of friendship, belonging

and places of welcome

where everyone feels safe

where everyone has a place

and where we are all united in Your love.

Together with the three wise men who spread the news of the Saviour we continue our day in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
