Elementary:

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Yesterday was the great Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ in which we celebrate Jesus' gift of life to all of us.

Listen to the Words of Jesus in the Gospel of John:

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats of this bread will live for ever; and the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.'

Let's ask the Lord's blessing as Jesus gave his life, death and resurrection to all of us:

We pray:

Lord, we ask you to bless the students in our school communities

may they find bravery to lead them through their struggles,
may they be kind to both friend and stranger,
may they seek healing where there is hurt,
may they find hope in moments of sadness,
may they seek friendship when there is lonliness,
may they turn to You so to make good decisions,

may they speak honestly in all things.

Let us pray together by saying the words of the prophet Micah:

May we act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

may they speak honestly even when a lie is the easiest path.

Let us pray together by saying the words of the prophet Micah: May we act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.
