Elementary:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Let us pray for children who are being hurt all over the world on this the United Nations International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression

Dear Lord, we love you and we thank you

For the children of the world.

We pray for strong, honest hearts

that make a difference in our world.

You know us like no other.

Protect all children who suffer pain and abuse.

Heal them and send good people to care for them.

Loving God,

Help us be people who work for the good of all people

Help us to care for children right here and now

In our schools, families and communities,

Who need help to be safe and healthy.

In Jesus' name we prayer. Amen.

Let us conclude our prayers with the words of the prophet Micah:

May we act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

High School:

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

Today is the United Nations International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression.  Let us pray for them today.

Dear Lord, we love you and we praise you.

We pray for a just and honest heart

that makes a difference in our world.

You know us like no other.

Help us to tell the truth

even when, for whatever reason,

we want to lie.

Give us courage to live in truth

and help us to see Your love in everything we do.

Help us:

When we are confused,

…to tell the truth;

When we are afraid.

…to tell the truth;

When we are tempted to lie,

…to tell the truth;

When deceit seems easy,

…to tell the truth;

When others are being false,

…to tell the truth;

Loving God,

Help us to walk the path of justice, honesty and truth.

May Jesus teach us how to tell the truth even when it is easier to lie.

We may get in trouble for our actions or things we have said, but when we tell the truth, we follow God's path.

Let us conclude our prayers with the words of the prophet Micah:

May we act justly, love tenderly and walk humbly with our God.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
