We begin in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Mark gospel (6: 55) says:
They scurried about the surrounding country and began to bring in the sick on mats to wherever they heard he was.
In the gospel, we often read about people bringing sick friends and family members to Jesus. Sometimes they carried friends very long distances or dragged them to him on mats. Once, some people even cut a hole in a roof to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus. They knew he would help.
We can bring our friends and family who are in need to Jesus through our prayers. We carry them in our hearts. We lay these good people at Jesus' feet. We ask Jesus to heal them and strengthen them.
We pray: Jesus, today I bring you ________ for healing, help and strength. Amen
God is good! All the time!
All the time! God is good!
May God's cause be the only concern of our hearts; and let the people of God say:
We continue our day in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
