Elementary:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

If we hold our hand in front of our face and breathe on it we cannot see our breath, but we can feel it.  The same is true of the Holy Spirit, we cannot see her, but we can feel her presence in many ways. The Holy Spirit touched the Apostles filling them with many gifts. The Holy Spirit of Love surrounds us forever and give us gifts in our hearts too. The presence of the Holy Spirit around us is like being hugged by Jesus all the time.

Let us pray:

Holy Spirit, bringer of peace, joy and love, please surround us;

help us see Jesus in everyone's face.

Fill our hearts with your strength so we can live as your special children of light.

Come and bless every day of our week,
and make us holy, humble, and gentle.
Make us healers in our world.

Thank you for the gift of this new day and for the blessings you send our way. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Lady help of believers … Pray for us.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

High School:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

We often forget the Holy Spirit during Easter. The Holy Spirit is the power of God's love which descended on the Apostles at Pentecost filling them with courage and commitment to Jesus.  This same Holy Spirit was present in the creation of all the things in the universe. This same Holy Spirit is present in each of us in our creation and in a special way in our Baptism and Confirmation. This Holy Spirit of Love surrounds us all the time - forever. Let us remember God's powerful Holy Spirit of healing, forgiving,  Love.

Let us pray

God of hope,

Open our eyes and hearts to the freeing gifts of your Holy Spirit.

Make determination our foundation in caring for those imprisoned by fear, loneliness and anxiety.

We pray for those who are in prisons for the harm they have done,

May your healing presence give their lives new direction;

We pray for those prisoners living in fear of being bullied or harassed by others,

May they feel your healing presence;

We pray for those who cannot or will not hear Your message of love,

May they feel your healing presence.

Holy Spirit light our hearts on fire

to live and share lives full of Jesus' love, compassion and healing.

In this month of Mary, let us once again pray the special prayer of devotion to her:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Our Lady, help of believers … Pray for us.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
