Elementary:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sometimes we feel the presence of our loved ones near us without seeing them like when mom, dad or our caregiver sneaks in for a surprise hug or when someone who lives far way from and we know that it's them when the phone rings.  The Holy Spirit is around us everyday making God's love connections present in our families and friends and we see God's love in the good deeds of the people around us.

We pray:

Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see your love in the people and places around us.  Fill us with goodness so we too can bring God's love to others in new and creative ways. We ask this is Jesus name. Amen.

The Holy Spirit helped Mary say "yes" to letting Jesus be born into our world through her, so we ask for her prayers so that God's love and friendship may come into the world through our words and actions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

This week is the North American Occupational Health and Safety week; we keep in our prayers the need for safe, healthy and productive work environments for all peoples.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mary, the Mother of God … Pray for us.

High Schools:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Hope: Jesus came for all peoples to bring light and hope through the gifts of his presence in all people sharing their gifts in the world. May good people always try choosing for the common good of all.

Easter is all about hope and new life, so we pray to be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit:

Dear Jesus, before rising into heaven,

You promised to send the Holy Spirit to Your apostles and disciples.

May the same Spirit flow through our lives awakening us to signs of love.

Grant us the Spirit of Awe and Wonder that we may be filled with a loving reverence toward You.

the Spirit of Piety that we may find peace and fulfillment in serving God while serving others;

the Spirit of Courage that we do what is right even though unpopular;

the Spirit of Knowledge that we may know You and know ourselves and grow in holiness;

the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten our minds with the light of Your truth;

the Spirit of Counsel that we may choose the surest way of doing the good you call us to do;

the Spirit of Wisdom that we may aspire to the things that last forever;

Teach us to be Your faithful disciples and enliven us in every way with Your Spirit.

Amen.

The Holy Spirit helped Mary say "yes" to letting Jesus be born into our world through her, so we ask for her prayers so that God's justice and healing hope may come into the world through our actions:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mary, the Mother of God … Pray for us.
