Elementary:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Sometimes we can feel the presence of our loved ones near us without seeing them like when mom or dad sneaks in for a surprise hug or when someone is far way and not here with us.  The Holy Spirit is around us everyday making God's love present in our family, friends and schools and we see God's love in the good deeds of the people around us.

We pray:

Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see your love in the people and places around us.  Fill us with goodness so we too can bring God's love to one another. Enable us to be finders of people and bringers of life. We ask this is Jesus name. Amen.

Tomorrow, May 5th is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, so we keep in our hearts and prayers all those lives have been darkened by this ongoing tragedy.

Jesus came for all peoples to bring light and hope through the gifts of his presence in good people bringing good into the world.  May good people always choose life.

The Holy Spirit helped Mary say "yes" to letting Jesus be born into our world through her, so we ask for her prayers so that God's justice may come into the world through us:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.  Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

This week is the North American Occupational Health and Safety week; we keep in our prayers the need for safe, healthy and productive work environments for all peoples.

Also, this day is a day of Belonging: National Day to End Bullying, may the Holy Spirit help us to treat all people with equal respect and care. Amen.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mary, the Mother of God … Pray for us.

This Easter season is all about hope and new life, so we pray to be open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit:

Dear Jesus, before rising into heaven,

You promised to send the Holy Spirit to Your apostles and disciples.

May the same Spirit flow through our lives awakening us to signs of love.

Grant us the Spirit of Awe and Wonder that we may be filled with a loving reverence toward You.

the Spirit of Piety that we may find peace and fulfillment in serving God while serving others;

the Spirit of Courage that we do what is right even though unpopular;

the Spirit of Knowledge that we may know You and know ourselves and grow in holiness;

the Spirit of Understanding to enlighten our minds with the light of Your truth;

the Spirit of Counsel that we may choose the surest way of doing the good you call us to do;

the Spirit of Wisdom that we may aspire to the things that last forever;

Teach us to be Your faithful disciples and enliven us in every way with Your Spirit.

Amen.

On this day of Belonging: National Day to End Bullying, may the Holy Spirit help us value the equal dignity of all people. Amen

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Mary, the Mother of God … Pray for us.
