Elementary:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Christian justice is rooted in love and working to do the best for all people. Injustice or unfairness is wherever a road block to love is created. And right now, many people feel unloved and pushed away.

In today's prayer let's ask Jesus to open our eyes to see any injustices around us and to give us courage in wsorking toward making the changes needed to correct them:

God of Love and Justice,

As we go about our day

help us to focus on being

fair and kind to everyone we meet.

Guide us to reach out to those who are not having a good day

and may our help to them turn a difficult day around.

We make this prayer in your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

We continue our litany by asking other saints for their intercession.

St. Charles Garnier… [Pray for Us]

St. Marguerite Bourgeoys … [Pray for Us]

Fr. Henri Nouwen … [Pray for Us]

We close in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.

High School:

We begin our prayer in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Christian justice is rooted in love. It is based on fairness, mercy, compassion and forgiveness. As Catholics Christians we are called to have an attitude that says, "Where there is injustice, I will work for change. I will do my best to avoid taking advantage of unjust situations." From our point of view, there is injustice whenever a barrier to love is created. And right now, many people feel unloved and pushed away.

In today's prayer we ask Jesus for his help and guidance in opening our eyes to see any injustices around us and to give us courage to work toward making the changes needed to correct them:

God of Love and Justice,

As we go about our day help us to focus on being

fair and compassionate to everyone we meet.

Guide us to reach out to those who are not having a good day

and may our interactions with them help to turn a difficult day around.

We make this prayer in your name, Lord Jesus. Amen.

We continue our litany by asking other saints for their intercession.

St. Charles Garnier… [Pray for Us]

St. Marguerite Bourgeoys … [Pray for Us]

Fr. Henri Nouwen … [Pray for Us]

We close in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Amen.
