We sign ourselves, In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
What does it mean to be a person of justice and what does it mean to be a responsible citizen of our country?
We give thanks to the Saints who help us to know what is a meaningful way to live our lives. The saints model for us how to live lives of love as they let the love of Jesus shine through their words and actions.
Thanks to the saints who followed Jesus along paths of goodness, we know the way to live as good citizens of Canada and the world.
God of Justice
Help us recognize your presence in our lives and our world.
May we have the wisdom to see you in the poor, the sick and the homeless,
May we be ready to open our hearts to you, even when you come at unexpected times.
Open our eyes to see when we can act in a just way to change injustice happening to someone.
Let us continue our litany of the saints. Today we pray to the disciples of Jesus.
Again, the response is, Pray for us.
