In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen
We pray in thanksgiving for God's many gifts to us: For sun and rain, for fruit and grain,
For friends we love so dearly.
For gentle moments and kindly hearts, we thank You, Lord, sincerely.
The coolness in the air and the turning of the leaves remind us of a new season. God, we ask you to renew our spirit. Let our family actions speak the truth of your love. Let those who see us know you a little better. This we ask through Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
St Paul who loved Jesus very much reminds us to give thanks always and often started his letters with words of gratitude towards God and the people he has encountered. We close by expressing our gratitude to Mary:
Full of grace,
The Lord is with you.
Blessed are you among women
and Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God,
Pray for us sinners now
and at the hour of our death.
In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
