Elementary:

We pray in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

What is better fighting or playing together in peace?

This week the United Nations celebrates Disarmament Week. We pray that all nations around the world will have the wisdom to stop using any kind of weapons to hurt one another and that we can reach out in true friendship, reconciliation and compassion to others.

Today we also remember the apostles St. Jude and St. Simon who took the true peace of Christ to their world.

With Saints Simon and Jude we us pray for wisdom and peace:

Peace be with you, our brothers and sisters

Peace be with you in heart and head

Peace be with you to calm your days

Peace be with you to smooth your ways

Peace be with you when you walk

Peace be with you when you talk

Peace be with you when you learn

Peace be with you when you earn

Peace be with you now

Peace be with you always

Amen

Let us pray to the Queen of Peace, Mary…

Hail Mary, Full of grace, The Lord is with you

Blessed are you among women

and Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, mother of God,

Pray for us sinners now

and at the hour of our death. Amen.

In the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Jesus has often been the cause of much division among people as God's truth often clashes with the sense of "truth", more an opinion really,  that we often use to get our way.

We need to pray for insight and wisdom to recognize the difference between the two.  Today we remember the apostles St. Jude and St. Simon who took the true peace of Christ to their world.

With Saints Simon and Jude we us pray for wisdom and peace:
