Elementary:

We shake off the night in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Dear God help us to think of all the good things that are going on all around us like peace, love, joy, family and friends.  Help us to be thankful for these wonderful things.  And when we go through sad times, help us to be strong.  We need You God to watch over us and guide us through our hard times.

Amen.

We remember in our prayers today those families and individuals dealing with suicide. May the Lord open our eyes to all in need of hope.

We need God in our hearts and we need one another so let us pray with the words that Jesus taught us, his brothers and sisters:

Our Father,

Who art in heaven,
Hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done,on earth as it is in Heaven.

on earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those

who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

We leave our prayer together in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

High School:

We shake off the night in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Please listen to this reflection written by former catholic student

Dear God,

In today's world, it is hard to think of all the good things we have.  We always think of all the bad things that happen to us.  Disease, racism, war, terrorism, abuse etc. cloud our thoughts mostly.

Dear God, help us to think of all the good things that are going on like peace, love, joy, healing and family and friends.

Help us to be thankful for these wonderful things.

And when we go through bad times, help us to be strong.

We need You God to guide and protect us through our hard times now and forever.

Amen.

We remember in our prayers today those families and individuals dealing with suicide. May the Lord open our eyes to all in need of hope.

We need God and we need one another so let us pray with the words that Jesus taught us:

Our Father,Who art in heaven,

And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
