On November 5, 2018 students led a Remembrance Day Ceremony with HMCS QUEEN, Regina Legion, and 16th Field Ambulance. Students from St. Joan of Arc School, St. Francis Community School, St. Timothy School, Imperial School and McDermid Community School were part of the day at the Regina Cemetery in the Field of Honour.
This was the 2nd Annual No Stone Left Alone Ceremony. For the past eight years, the No Stone Left Alone Memorial Foundation has held ceremonies throughout Canada to honour military fallen and educate the next generation. The ceremony includes laying wreaths and poppies on the headstones of veterans by students and Canadian Armed Forces members. After the ceremony, the students toured local military museums at the Royal Canadian Legion and at the Regina Armouries. Regina Catholic School Division Trustee Richard Dittrick laid a wreath on behalf of the Division.
