Miss Pringle's class at St. Michael Community School had a blast with the Saskatchewan Health Authority's Big Crunch.
The Big Crunch is an opportunity for kids to learn where our food comes from, celebrate and support locally grown food in schools, and provides an opportunity for kids to have a fun and positive experience with healthy eating. The carrots this year came from Springwater Farms in Ruthilda, SK. This initiative is organized by REACH (Regina Education and Action on Child Hunger) and the Saskatchewan Health Authority. The carrots are sponsored by MOSAIC and packaged for the schools by CIBC Contact Centre volunteers.
