Regina Catholic Schools supports the roles of parents as the primary educators of their children. Catholic Schools are an extension of the families that they serve. Parents are encouraged to participate in their local CSCC - Catholic School Community Council. Opportunities exist for parents to become involved in schools in a number of ways. Each school in our Division has a CSCC - Catholic School Community Council. Members are elected or appointed and represent parents, staff, students, parish, and the community. The CSCC has an important role to play in understanding, supporting, and promoting the school’s plans for continuous improvement. In addition, CSCCs dialogue with the Board and are the official parent voice within their community. Over the past 100 years we have enjoyed a very special relationship with our parent community. We are “one body in Christ”.
