Daily Prayer - December 9

In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen

Our two lit candles represent HOPE and PEACE.

Yesterday was the Feast Day of the Immaculate Conception of Mary. Some of you might be wondering “What the heck does that mean?”

In a nutshell, the Immaculate Conception tells us that God was with Mary in a special way. That made her a really great mother for Jesus.

Mary was scared and afraid when she learned that she was going to become the mother of Jesus…but she trusted God and His plan.

During this second week of Advent, the week of peace, let us remember that we are followers of the Prince of Peace.

Let us pray:

Gentle Jesus, fill us with peace. Help us share that peace with everyone we work with today, especially those who need it most.
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of our mother, Mary. May we have the faith of Mary to say YES to your call to live as children of God

Thank you, Mother Mary.

We make our prayer in the Name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN
