Students returned to school on April 9th.
We hosted an Easter Mass at St. Anne’s Parish on April 11th.
Parent/Student/Teacher interviews took place on April 12th.
Our second Recovery Day of the semester took place on April 12th from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Invites will go out after the break.
It was a challenging return from Easter Break as one of our students lost their lives in the
Humboldt Broncos’ bus crash. We send thoughts and prayers to the family of the student and anyone else affected by this event. Thank you to our division for additional supports they provided our students and staff. These supports included additional counsellors, clergy, and social workers. These supports will continue. Further, our first day back included several prayers and a liturgy to close the day. Should you or anyone else you know need support, please reach out to your LeBoldus family.
At times when there are no satisfactory answers to very difficult questions, we must pull together and not apart—lean on one another Golden Suns. We will continue to #pray4Humboldt. See link for youth and dealing with trauma.
Band Days will take place April 15th to 21st.
A grade nine retreat will take place on April 20th. Classes that should attend will receive more information in their classes.
