Ed Bitz Scholarship
(2 x $1000)
Softball Canada is currently accepting nominations for the Ed Bitz Scholarship, awarded to two registered Softball Canada umpires who are following their studies in a post-secondary educational institution.
Application deadline is March 1, 2018.
The Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE™ )
This program provides funding to amateur athletes hoping to one day represent Canada at the Olympic and Paralympic games. Athletes and coaches can use the funding for: training, equipment, or for traveling to competitions. To date, the FACE program has helped over 2,400 Canadian athletes and their coaches by providing more than $8,000,000 dollars in direct financial support.
For the Love of Curling
Through the For the Love of Curling scholarship program, the curling community across Canada plays an active role in supporting the next gereation of passionate, talented, and caring curlers. This annual scholarship program is available to student clurling athletes who have been accepted into a post secondary education program.
Applications are available in the spring annually.
Future Aces Scholarship
Awarded to students who can demonstrate their contribution to society by exhibiting good citizenship through extensive volunteerism, community service or character building initiatives and by participating in humanitarian causes.

Get Girls Golfing Scholarship
This scholarship is granted annually to one female high school senior that plays golf competitively in high school and intends to play golf as a freshman at a 2 or 4 year college. The scholarship will be awarded based on a combination of golf accomplishments, personal achievement, and overall need.
Applications are accepted annually starting on October 15th.
Hec Gervais Academic & Curling Scholarship
(3 x $3000)
Criteria: Must have competed in Junior Men’s or Women’s, High School, Winter Games, or Mixed competitions. Must have illustrated above average interest, skill, dedication, and sportsmanship to, and promotion of curling. Must be a member in good standing with the applicable Governing Curling Body.
Recipients must be actively curling the same year that they win the award.
Application deadline is March 31 annually.
Regina High School Athletic Association
The RHSAA has various scholarships with various due dates. All Regina Catholic Student athletes are encouraged to investigate these scholarships.
Saskatchewan Physical Education Association (SPEA) Awards
Awarded to graduates based on
- school involvement,
- a 70% average,
- leadership and sportsmanship qualities.
Students require nomination and a resume.
Application deadline is June 30 each year.
Saskatchewan Golf Association
Several SAGE Scholarships are open to students who are members of the SGA and who will be pursuing a full course of academic studies at a recognized post-secondary institution.
Application deadline is May 31st annually.
Saskatchewan Hockey Association
(11 x $1000)
Awarded each hockey season to members of the SHA.
Application deadline is August 31st.
Spirit of Sandra Junior Curling Scholarship
(6 x $5000)
Intended for young athletes who participate in curling in their graduating year from high school and who are attending post-secondary education. Recipients must have an 80% average.
Application deadline is April 30, 2018.
Softball Canada Awards
Each year, Softball Canada honours various members of the softball community who have contributed to the development and promotion of the sport. These individuals are recognized during the Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet during the Softball Canada AGM and Congress.
Application deadline is September 15th annually.
Pat Fletcher Golf Scholarship
Over 20 awards of up to $3000.00
Criteria includes: well-rounded lifestyle including non-academic interests and community involvement; an interest and ability in golf and respect for the traditions of the game.
Application deadline is May 31st annually.
