CAA Saskatchewan awards three annual entrance scholarships of $2,500 each to students attending the province's major post-secondary educational facilities - University of Saskatchewan, University of Regina and SIAST. Applicants must be either a CAA Saskatchewan Member or child of a Member, and a resident of Saskatchewan. CAA Saskatchewan also awards one entrance scholarship of $2,500 to an employee or child of an employee. The successful candidate is determined by academic excellence and selected by CAA Saskatchewan.

Canadian Merit Scholarship Foundation (Loran Award)
Awarded to talented young Canadians on the basis of character, service and leadership potential. A Loran Award includes four years of funding for undergraduate studies and a comprehensive enrichment program. For more information go to the Loran Award webpage. after you read through the application. Up to 30 National Awards valued at $75,000 over four years at select universities. Criteria includes proven leadership, character and services. There are 42 Finalist Awards of $3000 and 40 Regional Awards of $2000.

Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists
The student must be pursuing a course of studies directed toward a career in exploration geophysics or be adependent of a CSEG member who will be entering university. In order to qualify for an award, students must be enrolled at a Canadian university in an academic program leading to an exploration geophysics career in industry, teaching or research. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic performance, financial need, interest in geophysics and extra-curricular activities.

Canadian Wildlife Federation (Orville Erickson Memorial Scholarships)
These are awarded once per year to post-secondary students in the field of conservation. The fund is administered by the Canadian Wildlife Foundation and is financed entirely by private-sector donations in memory of Orville Erickson, a prominent Canadian conservationist and past CWF president.

"Explore" (formally called the "Summer Language Bursary Program")
This is a bursary offered to students who have completed grade 11. Recipients are randomly accepted. The bursary covers tuition fees, instructional materials, meals and accommodations for five weeks of French instruction and activities in your choice of many locations across Canada.

Father Ted Colleton Scholarship
This scholarship is available for grade 11 and 12 students. Three prizes: $1500 first prize, $800 second prize and $500 third prize. Applicants are required to write an essay based on a pro-life issue.

Fireside Essay Scholarship

Scholarships are awarded to students of Catholic High Schools. One student per high school may be nominated. One submission is permitted from each high school. The nominated student will then have his/her application forwarded to Fireside Catholic Publishing by Dec. 19th, 2016. Students should display outstanding leadership in religious education and complete a 750 (max.) word essay.

Gerry McCudden Memorial Scholarship Award
This award is sponsored by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International. Award criteria is +80% academic average, post-secondary acceptance, and essay competition. The National Scholarship Program is one of the ways that Girl Guides of Canada-Guides du Canada (GGC) recognizes girls and adult Members who embody the Mission and Values of the organization. Indspire is the largest supporter of Indigenous education outside the federal government. Ken Dryden Scholarship
These are awarded to select young people, currently or formerly in the care of the Canadian child welfare system, who demonstrate great achievement and promise. Each scholarship covers up to $3,000 or 80% of the cost of tuition and fees, whichever is less, and is renewable annually.

The Loran Scholar Program seeks well-rounded students who demonstrate character, promise of leadership and strong commitment to service in the community. This program offers up to 110 cash awards in 3 different categories: Loran Awards (30 awards valued up to $80,000 over four years), Finalist Awards (one time awards of $3000), and Provincial Awards (one time awards valued at $2000). Quest of Excellence 2018 School Bursary Program
The Quest for Excellence Program is a bursary program for grade 12 students in Western Canada. It was established by RE/MAX of Western Canada to recognize the success and ongoing pursuits of Western Canadian students in regards to leadership and community contribution initiatives. RE/MAX of Western Canada will award 16 bursaries of $1,000 each to qualifying Grade 12 students. In addition, the 16 bursary winners will be entered into a draw and one lucky recipient will receive a RE/MAX Hot Air Balloon ride for two.

Saskatchewan School Boards Association Education Scholarships (Building Brighter Futures)
Each year, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association awards two $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school students who remain in Saskatchewan in post-secondary study:

Technical/Trade Program Scholarship: $2,500
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is Aug. 31 each year.
Saskatchewan Agriculture Student Scholarship Program
(10 X $1000)
Awarded to students entering agriculture related post-secondary studies in 2017. Applicants are asked to produce a 750 word essay or 3 minute video describing why "agriculture, today more than ever, is a vibrant, diverse industry".

Saskatchewan Drama Association
SDA provides a $1000.00 Entrance Scholarship to an eligible SDA student member graduating from Grade 12 and continuing his/her education in a post secondary institution with a major area of study in Theatre/Drama or Theatre/Drama Education.

Saskatchewan Pulse Growers
The Saskatchewan Pulse Growers (SPG) will be giving out five, $5,000 scholarships again in 2017. To be eligible for a scholarship, students must complete Grade 12 this year and go on to attend a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary program full-time this fall, in a program associated with the agriculture industry. The student or student’s parent(s) must also be registered Saskatchewan pulse growers. Application deadline is May 4, 2018.
Schulich Leader Scholarship
25 awards worth $80,000 over 4 years, and 25 awards worth $100,000. Candidates must be enrolling in a program at one of 20 pre-selected universities in Canada and must be studying in one of the following areas: Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
Students must express interest to a Guidance Counsellor prior to Dec. 1. The students will then receive a nomination package that will be due back to LeBoldus Student Services by Dec. 16, 2018. Only one student from LeBoldus can be nominated. The nomination forms can be picked up from Student Services. More information and applications for this scholarship are available online.
Sing Canada Harmony
The charitable wing of the barbershoppers, offers multiple scholarships to provide for individual vocal training. Students must be current choral students who can demonstrate the ability to transfer experience and knowledge gained to other members of their choral group. Preference will be given to new applicants.

Solar Action Alliance
Solar Action Alliance, is a group of environmentalists who want to spread the word about the most clean, reliable, and abundant source of renewable energy: the sun. All applicants are required to write an essay. Application deadline is July 1st annually.
Stacey Levitt Memorial Award
Stacey was a high school student in Toronto who was accidently killed by a car while she was out jogging. In her memory, Stacey's parents created an annual $2500 award for a student who emulates that spirit and ideals that their daughter had before her tragic passing.

SWNA Junior Citizen of the Year Award
Nominations for youth who display a positive attitude, are dedicated to community and school, have a strong sense of caring and responsibility, have the ability to overcome life's challenges, and inspire others. Four award recipients will be chosen and in addition to local recognition, the winners receive a $3,000 bursary provided by SaskPower to be used for their post-secondary education.

Team Tim Hortons Scholarship Program
This program is designed to recognize restaurant team members and their children or grandchildren who believe in giving back to the community (through volunteer work) and would like to pursue post-secondary education. A total of 220 scholarships will be awarded in Canada and the United States. Each scholarship is valued at $1,000.
Applications for the 2018-2019 academic year will open on February 2019.

Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Program
($7000/year for a maximum of four years)
This award recognizes humanitarian volunteer work. There is no set discipline students must study in order to receive the award, but they must maintain their academic, voluntary and career performance to a satisfactory level.

TD Scholarship for Community Leadership
20 awards valued at up to $70,000 each. The key criterion for this scholarship is that students must have outstanding community leadership, in balance with academic performance.

Top 20 Under Twenty
Up to $1500 towards an educational experience including post secondary, conferences and summer programs. Applicants must be endorsed by an innovation sponsor, and must use innovation to shape change in their lives, school, community, province or country. Veterans Bursary Program
Established to disburse monies from the Bursary Fund as per the Federal Court of Canada issued Court File Number T-463-07. Up to 535 bursaries will be disbursed annually on a first-come-first-served basis. A Veteran can designate themselves to apply for a bursary or can designate an eligible individual (spouse, child, grandchild, nephew or niece) to apply.
Applications for students graduating in 2017 are now available and are due by June 30, 2017.
Violet Richardson Award
This is a recognition program for young women ages 14-17 engaged in volunteer action within their communities or schools. This award is given to young women whose volunteer activities make the community and world a better place.
Application deadline is Dec.1 annually.
Whitmore Park Community Association
The WPCA has established a Youth Leadership Award to recognize the contributions of Whitmore Park youth to the City of Regina. This award is given to a student who has contributed his/her talents, energy and time to community and volunteer work.
