It’s wonderful to see the weather outside get brighter and warmer and our days longer. But please remember that we have a school dress policy. The dress policy can be found in our school handbook and that school handbook can be accessed on our school website. Please remember midriff type and bra-type tops, halter tops, spaghetti strap tops and muscle shirts are not acceptable – at no time should a student’s under-garments be visible. We encourage you to take the time to consider these expectations each morning before coming to school.

Teddy Bears Anonymous is a wonderful organization which provides teddy bears to sick children all across Saskatchewan.  It only costs $1 to donate and with each donation you get the chance to chop the hair off of the teacher of your choice.  Mrs. Piercy, Ms. Woytowich, Ms. Thibeault, or Tanessa Boutin.  Mark Johnston from Big Dog 92.7 has also volunteered to be pied in the face!  Get your ballots now, as the action will take place at the final Pep Rally in June!! You can find the volunteers in the concourse each day at lunch to purchase your ballots!

Yesterday the boys junior and senior BMT (Baflour-Miller-Thom) Rugby teams took to the pitch. Highlights came from Miller’s Chase Stelter’s mad dashes down the sideline, Balfour’s Matt Klimchuk thunderous tackle of a rushing bull, and Thom’s Dreydon Martin’s twinkle toed moves. We won one game against the Riffel-Knoll team and came up short in the others. Great job boys and looking forward to next week! There will be an optional Rugby buggers game today after school from 3:30 to 4:30 for any players interested and those who haven’t played rugby before but want to come out!!
