The month of May has ushered in some beautiful weather! Please remember that at Miller we have a school dress policy and wearing appropriate clothing at school shows that we value self-respect. The dress policy can be found in our school handbook, which is on our school website. Please remember that skirts/shorts should not be shorter than your extended finger length when your arms are placed at your sides. Thank you for considering the dress policy each morning before coming to school.
Hey Marauders this is our 50th Anniversary week!!! Be sure to show your Miller pride this Wednesday at our school assembly by wearing Miller spirit wear. Yes we want the entire gym – staff and students to be a sea of red, white, blue and grey. This is Marauder territory so let’s make it look that way.
Teddy Bears Anonymous is a wonderful organization which provides teddy bears to sick children all across Saskatchewan. It only costs $1 to donate and with each donation you get the chance to chop the hair off of the teacher of your choice. Mrs. Piercy, Ms. Woytowich, Ms. Thibeault, or Tanessa Boutin. Mark Johnston from Big Dog 92.7 has also volunteered to be pied in the face! Get your ballots now, as the action will take place at the final Pep Rally in June!! You can find the volunteers in the concourse each day at lunch to purchase your ballots!

Congratulations to CJ Balmes and Shaina Dela Rama, our Mixed Doubles Team, who fought in an unbelievably close Regional Badminton Tournament in Swift Current on Saturday. Out of 6 mixed doubles teams, at the end of the tournament there was a 5-way tie with 5 teams all having won 3 matches each. This is unheard of in badminton competition!!! After calculating games won and lost, CJ and Shaina came in a very close 3rd place. Good job team.
