SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Scholarships and bursaries are available from a variety of sources including clubs, organizations, universities and technical institutes. The number of awards a student is eligible for depends upon a variety of factors. For example, some scholarships are based on academic excellence, while others may be awarded based on talent and/or community or school or parish involvement, or all of the above.
When applications become available, information will be posted. Students are encouraged to explore additional sources for scholarship monies. Check the following websites for potential scholarships and see the attached handout from the December 4th Scholarship Information Session for students :

Gr. 12 Student Involvement Form for Leadership Awards
Miller Comprehensive Catholic High School Student Leadership Awards
The Grade 12 leadership awards, scholarships and bursaries are voted on by the Miller Staff. In order for students to be considered for one or more of these awards it is helpful to have lots of information on the students who may fit certain award criteria. These awards are presented at Graduation Exercises.
If you feel that in the past four years (do not include elementary school involvement) you have had involvement in some or all of the areas listed below, please fill out this Office 365 Form. Treat this as you would a scholarship application.
*The Microsoft Office 365 Form document cannot be saved for you to return and finish later. Have all of your information ready to input and then submit the form.

Degree Program Scholarship: $2,500
Technical/Trade Program Scholarship: $2,500
Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of demonstrated good character, community leadership, financial need, and a 500-word essay. The application deadline is Aug. 31 each year. Also, be aware that if you must mail documents, it will take 2 to 3 days for your application to reach its destination.
