Advent Season is a time of preparedness, in our hearts and minds, to celebrate the birth of Jesus. It allows us to take a
step back and see who we are and how we can show God’s love to others in our community, which is what we are called to do as Christian people.
Stewardship is using our time, talent and treasure to take care of that which is not ours. With this in mind, we are pleased that all classrooms at École St. Angela Merici will be participating in the Adopt a Family Project. This year, together with Holy Family Parish, we will be supporting 10 families at a sister school within the Regina Catholic Schools Division. Our goal is to provide these families with a Christmas hamper, filled with food and gifts so they may enjoy a wonderful Christmas.
In addition, in order to purchase perishable items and household goods for the hampers, students can take part in the following charity fundraisers at our school during Stewardship Week December 9th to 13th:
Candygrams on sale December 9 - 13 for $1.00 and will be distributed the week of December 16.
