Principal's Message

The staff and I hope that you and your family have a blessed Christmas season.  May 2020 be filled with good health and happiness!  A special thank you to all who contributed to our Christmas Service Projects—your generosity and support was overwhelming.

Our Advent  Angel Tree was once again a tree-mendious success!  There were over 135 items/angel tags counted on the day of drop off at Milton Heights.  They were overwhelmed by the generosity of the St. Dominic Savio community.  Thanks to the Grade 7 & 8 classrooms for taking the lead on this service project.

The Christmas Program put everyone in the spirit of Christmas.  Thank you to all who were able to make it out, to the students for their efforts and cooperation, to all the staff for planning and bringing out the best in their students.  Congratulations to everyone for a job well done!  Also, families donated $563.65 through a silver collection which as donated to the Salvation Army for Christmas meals.

The Grade 1/2 and 2/3 classes did a Poinsettia  fundraiser and the proceeds of $900.00 was donated to the Regina Food Bank along with non-perishable food.

As we begin the second half of our school year I would like to thank our parents for sharing their children with us.  They are indeed "graces" from God and they never fail to fill our days with "sweet surprises."

Happy New Year and best wishes for a blessed 2020.
