Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!
Welcome to a new school year! We are thrilled to welcome back so many students, and honoured to welcome our new students to the Regina Catholic Schools family.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them. Matthew 18:20
We gather together as school communities start the academic year as we always do: in prayer. For this year, we pray for the growth and success for each of our students. We pray for guidance for our teachers and staff to lead in the image of Christ, and we pray for each of our families. We place our prayers and dreams for the year with God, and trust that we will have the courage and strength to do His will.
We thank you for choosing Catholic education for your child. The Regina Catholic School Division is working with all Catholic school divisions in Saskatchewan to preserve and promote the gift that is Catholic education. We want to maintain Catholic education as a choice for all parents who want a faith-filled education for their children. You can learn more about our work with the Saskatchewan Catholic School Boards Association online at www.catholicedspirit.ca.
All scripture is inspired by God and is[a] useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 16:17
September is always a fun and busy month in schools. There is one important date for all elementary students' families to remember, which is Friday, September 21. This is a day of Professional Development for teachers, and a day off for students. We are grateful for the opportunities to provide teachers with opportunities to help them grow in their profession and thank God for His many blessings.
