Dear Families;

We pray you are all well and making family memories to bring a bright light into a somewhat dark time.

It's important to remember our playgrounds should be as empty as our classrooms. Playground equipment is not cleaned regularly and the COVID-19 virus could be present on surfaces. Playing basketball with friends, even if the players remain several feet apart, leaves the surface of the ball to carry germs between players. We ask all residents to stay off all school playgrounds during this time of social distancing. Please consider getting your physical activity at home, in your yards, or by taking a walk, run or bike ride while maintaining a safe distance from others outside of your household.

While you are at home, and our school-based staff remains at home, our leadership team continues to develop plans as we wait for guidance from the provincial government's Response Planning Team (RPT). We have a highly qualified and talented staff and expect to be able to begin working with them again once this week's "pause" ends. We expect to have news about division provided learning for our students to share with you next week.

Thank you for staying informed, and checking your email inboxes and regularly for updates.

As has been stated numerous times, the situation is fluid. A reminder to visit for all your COVID-19 details, direct from the provincial government.

His Holiness Pope Francis has asked us all to join him tomorrow, Wednesday, March 25, 2020, in praying together the Lord's Prayer to implore God to rid the world of the COVID-19 pandemic. Together tomorrow at noon local time, we will say the prayer that Jesus, our Lord, taught us, the Our Father.  The Archdiocese of Regina will live-stream a special prayer service on Facebook at that time. We invite you to watch it here: The prayer will be led by leaders of Christian churches in Regina.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

God bless,
