Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!

We are Regina Catholic Schools. Currently closed. Continually learning. Constantly praying.

We greet June knowing we will not be able to gather as a school community again during the 2019-2020 school year. This news brings both disappointment and relief as we plan for the final educational push we experience every June.

"The family is one of the indispensable social subjects for the achievement of a culture of peace." – Pope Benedict XVI

Families are working and learning together in a way we never expected. We continue to pray for all our families. We trust you are enjoying the supplemental learning you're able to access and fit reasonably into your schedules. Our teachers and staff care very much about all their students' education and well-being. Schools are so much more than just a place to open a textbook. Our schools are places of connection, community, and prayer.

As a school division, we celebrate all our graduates this year. We know graduation exercises will look very different from the traditional event it has been in years past; but we want to remind everyone that a virtual ceremony does not diminish the accomplishments of our graduates. We are so proud of all our grade 12 students, who are weeks away from completing their secondary education. Likewise, we're excited for all our students to complete their current grades and move on to a new adventure in learning. We will continue to celebrate and support our families through transitions into elementary school, from elementary to high school, and from high school to whatever their bright futures have in store.

Elementary students have a day without teacher contact on Friday, June 12. High school students have a day off on Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, June 25, 2020 is the much-anticipated last day for students.

We wish you a bright summer of health and safety, and look forward to sharing details about what the 2020-2021 school year will look like as soon as we know. We continue to keep all our students, staff and families in our prayers.

God Bless.
