Regina Catholic School Division is proud to participate in the Canada Student Service Grant #CSSG! This summer, post-secondary students, recent grads and not-for-profit organizations are joining together in communities from coast to coast to coast. The global COVID-19 pandemic has created economic and social challenges for post-secondary students and recent graduates, and notable disruptions to the essential community services provided by not-for-profit organizations. In response, the Government of Canada has created the Canada Student Service Grant, a program that will provide post-secondary students and recent graduates with volunteer opportunities to help with the response to COVID-19 at Canadian not-for-profit organizations. You can learn more about the CSSG at https://www.iwanttohelp.org/en-CA/.
Regina Catholic School Division is offering to assist our 2020 graduates and alumni attending a postsecondary institute. Volunteer at a not-for-profit, gain skills, connect with your community – plus you may be eligible for a grant from $1000-5000. For details and to sign up with our team please contact Kelly Magnusson to get more information (k.magnusson@rcsd.ca).
