Report Cards and Student Involved Conferences
Report Cards will be distributed to the students on Monday, November 28th. As we informed you last year, it is important to remember that the report card provides a snapshot of a student's learning at a specific point in time. In Regina Catholic Schools, the reporting of student progress is a comprehensive process, and is supported by additional evidence of learning that captures the entire picture of the student as a learner.
The Student Involved Conference provides for such an opportunity for students, parents and teachers to meet and discuss the student's growth and achievement with plans for future learning. At the conference, students will share their learning goals, work samples and their learning portfolios and engage in conversations that are specific to the student's learning needs.
Students and teachers are preparing for the upcoming Student Involved Conferences, which will be held on the evening of Wednesday, November 29th and Thursday, November 30th. Online registration for conferences will open Monday, November 13 at 9:00 a.m. You will receive information on how to register for your student involved conference in the next few days. If you have any questions please contact the office.
