Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!

"Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us."  Romans 8:34

Our prayers were answered, and we were able to deliver the good news that the Regina Catholic School Division is the first ever Canadian winner of the Follett Challenge. This international win means we have an additional $60,000 in Follett products and services (of which we use a lot in our schools already), plus, we will have a visit from award winning author Kwame Alexander. We are thrilled, and grateful to the whole "Tinker Tub" team, including all the Teacher Librarians in our elementary schools.

We are in the process of finalizing the budget for the 2019-2020 school year, which will be approved by the end of June. Administration is also preparing for next year, and making staffing arrangements for all our schools. If you know your child or children will be moving to a new school or school division for next year, please let your current school staff know as soon as possible. The sooner we know, the better prepared we are which keeps our schools running efficiently.

While we prepare for next year, we're still in the thick of things for this year! May is always busy and lots of fun, with outdoor activities, school events, Masses and liturgies, and of course, lots of learning. We're so happy to share the joy of the Easter season throughout the Regina Catholic School Division.

God searches for you, even if you don't search for Him. God loves you, even if you have forgotten Him. God looks for beauty in you, even if you think you have uselessly squandered all your talents. ~ Pope Francis

May is Early Childhood Education Month. We are so blessed to have so many brilliant minds teaching our youngest students. May also has a day off for all students on Friday, May 17, giving all students a four day weekend including the statutory holiday on Monday, May 20. We pray everyone has a safe and enjoyable May long weekend.
