Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!
During this season of Lent, we find ways to make amends with the Lord. Ash Wednesday was the day we were literally marked as we promised to turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel. We wore those ash crosses with pride and entered a time of fasting, praying and giving to others. With more of the 40 days to go, we look forward to marking Holy Week before taking Good Friday off to give thanks for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made to save each of us.
This month leads to another round of progress reports and student led conferences in our elementary schools. Once again, we ask all families to participate so we can continue to see great success in all our students.
We are pleased to say our 2018/2019 school calendar
has been approved by the Ministry of Education. Thank you for considering this as you make vacation plans.
As a Board, we are raising funds to protect and promote Catholic Education in our province, and we are holding a raffle. The grand prize is four tickets to the Eagles concert, and there are also two cash prizes. For more information about how to buy tickets, please visit our website.
Your support for Catholic Education is very important to us. Thank you for choosing a faith-based education for your children, and thank you for participating in the faith journeys of each of our students. More information is available online at https://www.catholicedspirit.ca
