Do you know what "Orange Shirt Day" is all about ? Join us for our Liturgy on Friday, Sept 28 at 9:30 ...

September 27, 2018

Orange Shirt Day is the legacy of Phyllis' account (a residential school survivor) of her shiny new orange shirt being taken away on her 1st day of school at the Mission. This is the time of year that First Nations children were taken from their homes to residential schools.  It is also an opportunity to set the stage for anti-racism &  anti-bullying orange shirt day.pngpolicies for the coming school year.  Orange Shirt Day brings together First Nations, local governments, schools &  communities in the spirit of reconciliation & hope for generations of children to come.
