The CSCC Avent project will be dedicated to The Wolfe stroke unit at Wascana Rehabilitation Center this year. This unit specializes in providing active rehab to those who have had a change in life. For example ; stroke, loss of limb, or a spinal cord injury. The requested items are : socks, deodorant, shampoo, body wash/soap, toothpaste, toothbrush and combs/ hairbrush. We know that Christmas comes with its own unique set of challenges, these basic items can be found at the dollar store and will be appreciated by many of the patients that take up temporary residents here. The Advent project will run from December 11th- 15th. The donation drop off will be located at the front of our school. Thank you for your continued support!
As for our monitory donation, the CSCC is delighted to announce that we will be donating to the Resident enrichment fund at WRC. This program is designated for those who may not have family support or whom receives government funding for the basics. This program is for the long term care patients at Wascana Rehabilitation Center to have the ability to purchase new clothes or whatever else they require that may not be covered under Saskatchewan health care.
On behalf of the St. Theresa CSCC , Merry Christmas and have a very happy New year!
