Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!
We are Regina Catholic Schools. Know, Love, Serve.
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19
The darkness of winter is very slowly beginning to fade, giving us hope for the spring to come. February is always a short month; however, it is a month to take time to celebrate our staff and families.
Our new Board of Trustees has been very busy with Board meetings, Orientations, Linkage meetings and learning policy. We remain prepared to adjust, as needed, to maintain the safety of students and staff while still delivering a faith-based, student-centered, quality Catholic education. We thank you for your continuous support.
Staff Appreciation Week is February 7-13. The chosen theme in Saskatchewan is “Unsung Heroes,” which we feel is very appropriate. We are excited to find ways to thank our staff for being the unsung heroes during these challenging pandemic times.
A new quad semester begins on February 1 for our high school students. Friday, February 5 is a day off for elementary students while staff attends Institute, which is a day filled with important professional development. Then we kick off a week of break on Monday February 15 which is a Family Day statutory holiday; followed by Winter Break February 16-19.
We wish our staff, students and families a safe and happy February and Winter Break.
