Greetings from the Regina Catholic School Division Board of Trustees!
We are Regina Catholic Schools. Know, Love, Serve.
"So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9
We have together navigated another challenging month. As we settle into April, we want to thank all our families, students and staff for their support and cooperation as we moved once again to Level Four (Remote Learning). The decision to make this move was not easy to make, nor has it been easy to live. As a Board of Trustees, we will continue to speak with the Government of Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Health Authority, Public Health and our own Senior Leadership Team to ensure we are making our decisions with the best possible information available.
With April comes the end of Lent, and the beginning of the Easter season. We pray you have all had a chance to find the peace in prayer, fasting and almsgiving during Lent. As we thank God for giving us His only Son and sacrificing for us, we remember how blessed we are. Easter is a time of joy and celebration, for it is not what was taken away which is to be remembered, but what was given to us: forgiveness of our sins and everlasting life.
Easter break begins on Good Friday, April 2. Then April 5-9 is a week for all our staff and students to relax and enjoy the holiday break from school. On the advice of local medical health officials, we will remain at Level Four following the break. On April 21, we begin a new quad in our high schools. We head back to Level Two for our elementary schools and Level Three for our high schools on Monday, April 26.
We wish you all a peaceful Holy Week, and a very happy Easter.
