Creator God,

We pray for Indigenous people who were killed or injured in defence of our freedom. God of love and justice, please help us all honour these sacrifices through prayers and actions for peace in our classrooms, homes and communities. Let us serve you through intentional and prayful work to eliminate misunderstandings, hatred, and prejudice. Guide our steps in the way of truth, reconciliation and peace.
