Sask ICE investigates crimes involving the abuse and exploitation of children on the internet. The unit works to reduce the vulnerability of children to internet predators, identifies victimized children and ensures their safety, and actively pursues and apprehends perpetrators of child sexual exploitation, assisting in the prosecution of sexual offenders. In this presentation, parents will learn the steps to take to protect their children online, including monitoring chat or messaging programs, enabling privacy settings on apps, and being aware of the online games their children play.
NO MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 19 WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE PRESENTATION. Childcare will be available onsite if other arrangements cannot be made. Please indicate need at time of registration.
